The Abu Dhabi Agriculture and Food Safety Authority (ADAA) has issued an administrative closure order against the Crest Restaurant in Al Mutarad area, Al Ain, in violation of Law No. (2) of 2008 on food in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi and the legislations issued pursuant to it, and its danger to public health.

The Authority said that the food control report stated that the decision of the administrative closure was the result of the failure of the establishment to comply with the standards and requirements of food safety and health, where 4 violations have been released against the establishment since the beginning of this year due to the presence of insects in different areas of the restaurant and not maintain the health level of the facility, which may affect Level of food safety and consumer health.

The Authority confirmed that the administrative closure of the restaurant will remain in effect until the violations are corrected and the causes removed, with the need to meet all the necessary requirements for the resumption of activity, pointing out that the inspection campaigns implemented by the Authority regularly aimed at ensuring the application of best food safety practices in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, and gaining the confidence of consumers in the Food system quality.
