“If transit continues and transit revenues remain at approximately the current level (for these revenues to cover the full costs of the operator, otherwise you now need to determine the cost of depreciation), then the amount of the claim will decrease to that level (even less than $ 2 billion),” Vitrenko said on his Facebook page.

Earlier, Naftogaz demanded to revise the transit tariff with Gazprom. As Vitrenko stated, the company requires $ 11.8 billion, as well as interest in the form of compensation.

On November 2, Naftogaz said it had sent a counterclaim to Gazprom in the amount of $ 12 billion to Stockholm.

According to Vitrenko, Gazprom attacked Naftogaz, appealing to the Stockholm arbitration on April 18, 2018.
