The candidate LREM at the Paris mayor, Benjamin Griveaux, was the guest of Europe 1 Tuesday evening. He responded to the government's immigration announcements, saying they would "objectify the debate."

INTERVIEW

A waiting period before having access to the universal protection of disease, quotas of economic immigrants ... the measures on immigration announced by the government Tuesday are far from unanimous. On the right and on the far right in particular, we denounce "carabistouilles", and persistent laxity. To these critics, Benjamin Griveaux, LREM candidate for mayor of Paris, was keen to answer Tuesday evening on Europe 1. "The response to immigration proposed by the National Gathering has never worked," he asserted . "The answer is European, Marine Le Pen does not want Europe, it has always been against the European border guards, and the good level of response is European."
