Commenting on Tallinn’s refusal to call the Akademik Primakov vessel into the territorial waters of Estonia, the diplomat pointed out that such a decision was “extremely perplexing,” given that the same vessel was “twice granted the relevant permissions”, RIA Novosti reports.

“This time they refused, without explaining the reasons,” she said.

According to Zakharova, this is the third time in recent times when Estonia has refused Russian sailors and aircraft.

“In early October, an airplane was not allowed to fly through Estonia with the Deputy Prime Minister on board,” she said.

As the diplomat pointed out, in April 2019 - “entry into the territorial waters of the Republic of Estonia by the Russian training vessel“ Sedov ”.

In 2017, the media wrote that the IL-86 plane of the special flight detachment "Russia" violated the Estonian air border.

As was later emphasized in the Russian Foreign Ministry, the flight to Finland of the special board, on which the Minister of Foreign Affairs Sergey Lavrov was, was agreed and went on normally.
