Rodolphe Carles, president of the network of nurseries Babilou, intends to take advantage of this trip to support its development plan in China, announced this week, he explains on Europe 1.

Emmanuel Macron is visiting China for three days. At his side a delegation composed of breeders, large French companies but also of medium size companies. For the first time, Rodolphe Carles, the Babilou nursery president, will accompany the president. At the microphone Europe 1 of Matthieu Belliard, he returns on the importance of this trip for his company. "It is important for us to have this visibility with our partners especially that we announce this week the debut of Babilou in the Chinese market".

"China is committed to respect and values ​​of trust, and the highest representation of the state to support our future development plan in this country is an important sign for our partners," continues Rodolphe Carles. If he concedes that inviting a company to head a network of nurseries is "original", the president of Babilou reminds that it is an opportunity to "talk about education, culture and friendship between two peoples ".

"Through Babilou and early childhood education, which is in fact an investment for the future of a nation, I think the president and his team saw an important symbol of the France-China relationship. It is important for the President of the Republic to be fully aware of the long time needed for a society that makes a strong investment in early childhood.To invest today in the first 1,000 days of life, it is for a better society in 15- 20 years, "says Rodolphe Carles.

700 establishments in 12 countries

Babilou is a family business, says Rodolphe Carles. Created in 2003, the network of crèches now has 700 schools in 12 countries. For the company, the Chinese market represents a gigantic opportunity. "There are 17 million births every year and a lot of infrastructure developed over 3-6 years, but they are born on the 0-3 years," says Rodolphe Carles. The company hopes to bring French expertise to this age group.

Alongside companies like L'Oreal or BNP Paribas, Babilou does not have to blush. "With India, and all the countries we currently cover, we cover one-third of the world's births," said the president. "It is a pride to have great champions of the CAC 40 but also a reality of representing young people and small businesses, all sectors combined.I am very honored and admiring that the President of the Republic took care to represent the entire French economy. "
