In Vietnam, 8 people detained in the case of the death of migrants in Essex

The Vietnamese police have arrested eight people in connection with 39 people who were found dead in a lorry in Essex on October 23

On October 23, a truck with 39 bodies, which, presumably, arrived from Bulgaria, was found in the industrial park of Grace.

Essex police reported that among the dead - 8 women and 31 men. On suspicion of murder, a 25-year-old native of Northern Ireland was detained.

Essex police said on November 2 that the dead migrants were Vietnamese.
