A 12-year-old boy is seriously injured when attacked by a Czechoslovakian wolf breed dog that bit him and caused major injuries to his shoulder and that have required medical treatment in the emergency department.

The facts were known when the Foral Police was required in a town of Valdizarbe to intervene in the attack of a dog to a minor who was with his mother. The owner of the dog was walking with three dogs, at which time one of them, a Czechoslovakian wolf breed, bit the child, as explained by the police in a statement.

As a result of the bite, the agents of the Environmental Research Group have already started the procedures with the city council so that the dog involved becomes considered a 'potentially dangerous dog' (PPP), a possibility contemplated by Royal Decree 287/2002 by the that Law 50/1999 on the legal regime for the possession of potentially dangerous animals is developed.

Potentially dangerous animals of the canine species are considered to be those that, although not included in the potentially dangerous dog breeds (Royal Decree 287/2002), "manifest a markedly aggressive character or have starred aggressions on people or other animals" , explains the Foral Police.

The proceedings of the report have been sent to the Court of First Instance and Instruction of Pamplona and to the Pamplona Prosecutor's Office .
