Prime Minister Abe, who is visiting Thailand, will attend the ASEAN = Southeast Asian Union Summit on April 4th.

RCEP = East Asia Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership Summit is scheduled for negotiations, but it is difficult to conclude within 16 years including India.

Prime Minister Abe arrived in Bangkok, Thailand on the evening of March 3 and attended a dinner party with leaders from each country in order to attend ASEAN-Japan summit meetings.

Prior to this, Prime Minister Abe greeted by shaking hands with South Korean President Moon Jae-in, whose relationship was chilling.

Prime Minister Abe attended a series of summits, including the EAS = East Asia Summit, to discuss regional security on the 4th, taking into account the current situation that North Korea is repeatedly launching ballistic missiles, etc. I will emphasize Japan's position to support the US-North Korean process toward denuclearization.

In addition, at the summit of RCEP = Comprehensive Economic Partnership in East Asia where 16 countries such as Japan, China, and India participate, negotiations for finalization will be held.
Concerning the reduction of tariffs, India is not wary of China and is not cautious, and it is difficult to conclude within the year in 16 countries, whether discussions between leaders can fill the gap with India Focus.

Prime Minister Abe has decided to hold separate meetings with Prime Minister Lee Keqiang and Prime Minister Modi of India at the meeting, but no meeting with President Moon Jane is scheduled.

It will be noted whether there is a scene where the two leaders exchange more words to improve the relationship.
