Bavarian Interior Minister: Death threats against the Greens: Herrmann demanded harsh punishment

Berlin (AP) - Bavaria's Interior Minister Joachim Herrmann is horrified by the death threats against the Green politicians Cem Özdemir and Claudia Roth and calls for severe penalties for the sender.

«The ugly threats of alleged right-wing extremists against Mr Özdemir and Mrs Roth are unspeakable and an attack on liberal democracy as a whole,» said the CSU politician to the newspapers of the Funke media group.
