Enedis says nearly 100,000 households in the south-west find themselves without electricity on Sunday due to the storm on the Atlantic coast.

Some 100,000 households were deprived of electricity on Sunday morning in southwestern France as a result of severe weather and strong winds that swept the region, said the manager of the electricity distribution network Enedis to AFP.

The main departments concerned are Pyrénées-Atlantiques, Landes, Gironde and Dordogne, said Enedis.
