The Houthi group revealed today the toll of losses incurred by Sudanese military units fighting in Yemen along with the Saudi-UAE coalition, since it began its participation in the war since March 2015, against Houthi militants.

The military spokesman for the Huthis Yahya Serai that the total loss of the Sudanese army since the beginning of the war in Yemen exceeds 8 thousand dead, wounded and missing, including 4253 dead and 3747 injured.

He added that these figures represent the losses of Sudanese forces on various fronts since the start of the Sudanese participation in the war on Yemen.

During the press conference, he presented pictures of what he said were Sudanese soldiers and the destruction of a number of their military vehicles.

"The Saudi-UAE alliance is pushing Sudanese soldiers to the front lines of the war on Yemen," he said.
