The defending champion Juventus, who is heading to Torino for the Turin derby on Saturday, will be under the threat of Inter Milan, who will challenge Bologna a bit earlier on the 11th day. Series A.

Winner (2-1) in Brescia midweek, the Nerazzurri, Juve dolphins at one point, could take the lead at least temporarily. Inter will go on Tuesday in Dortmund in C1.

"We have now played our fourth match (in Brescia) in nine days with the same players, and now we have to recover because we are only halfway there," said Antonio Conte, Inter's coach.

The Old Lady struggled to save her first place Wednesday at Genoa (2-1) relying on Cristiano Ronaldo's penalty in injury time while Adrien Rabiot was ruled out. The Torino, he, exploded (4-0) at Lazio with a double Ciro Immobile, the "capocannoniere" (12 goals) of Calcio.

Torino coach Walter Mazzari has seen the confidence of his president renewed despite a 13th place, but the statistics of the derby do not favor him: since 1995, the Torino has beaten only once Juve.

And during this period, the Bianconeri won 12 league titles and a European title against a D2 title (Series B) to their opponent.

Atalanta Bergamo, 3rd, led by Colombian striker Luis Muriel (8 goals), will host Sunday Cagliari (7th), one of the teams in shape of the moment.

For his part, author of a disappointing course so far, AC Milan (10th), winner at a minimum (1-0) of the penultimate SPAL in San Siro during the previous day, will have to raise a completely different challenge at the coming of Lazio (5th).

Finally, the Napoli (6th), hooked (2-2) on Wednesday at home by Atalanta, will not have an easy run on the ground of Roma (4th) who went wild (4-0) Wednesday at Udine.
