“On November 1, 2019, in the city of Kazan, 31 children aged 6 to 10 years old, guests of the Crystal Hotel, turned to medical institutions with signs of poisoning. Six of them were hospitalized, ”the press service of the republican headquarters of the Investigative Committee of Russia said in a statement.
According to the investigation, all the victims used the services of the hotel restaurant, which were provided by Piano LLC.
A criminal case has been opened into the incident regarding the provision of services that do not meet safety requirements.
Investigators examined the premises, took food samples and seized the necessary documentation.
The prosecutor's office of Tatarstan also announced the beginning of the audit.
Earlier, URA.RU reported that a child poisoned with gasoline was hospitalized in the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug.
