A number of motorists in Spain are wearing T-shirts with pictures that simulate seatbelts to fall back on road cameras that monitor offenders and escape a fine imposed by the country's traffic police.
The belts, which embellish the t-shirts of motorists, help the fallacy of surveillance cameras, and make their electronic systems believe that they are real, and that the wearer is not against the laws of the roads;
The shirt with a seat belt image is priced at 12 euros ($ 13.4), while the fines imposed by the Roads Code for violators for not wearing the seat belt are 200 euros ($ 223.4).
Spanish police have condemned the drivers' behavior and warned of this obsession, saying that these drivers risk their lives with their inaccuracies and recommended that they consider the ability of seat belts to save many lives in accidents.
"It is possible for the driver to avoid a fine through the tricky t-shirts he wears, but can he guarantee his life without seat belts when he has an accident?"
