As Metropolitan Anthony of Korsun and West Europe said, the delegation led by the archbishop totals more than 130 people.

“I am very pleased to be here with you today to celebrate the unity that has been restored between the Archbishopric of Western European parishes and the Moscow Patriarchate,” the archbishop told reporters.

He thanked the Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia Kirill for the work to restore the unity of the churches.

Earlier, Patriarch Kirill signed a letter of restoration of the unity of the Archbishopric of Orthodox Russian churches in Western Europe with the Russian Orthodox Church.

The letter was signed in duplicate.

One is planning to hand it over on November 3 for a service in the Cathedral of Christ the Savior to the head of the archbishopric, Archbishop John of Dubna (Renneto), the second will be kept in the archives of the Moscow Patriarchate.
