At 17.20, police received an alert about a suspicious dangerous object outside the entrance to a hotel on Kaptensgatan in central Malmö. After an initial assessment at the site, it was not possible to rule out that the object was dangerous.
Hotel guests are currently not allowed to leave the hotel via the entrance.
The police have blocked off Kaptensgatan and the Kaptensbron. Drottninggatan has also been blocked off from the intersection to Amiralsgatan.
