At 22, security guards were called to a grocery store in Borlänge where a messy, visibly affected man was in the store.

- He was there and stoked, and should then have struck the guard, says Jan Matérne, the commanding officer at the police regional control center.

Could be linked to beatings by bus driver

The man, who is in his 30s, then gathered in the grocery store and an ambulance was called. Once at a hospital, police arrived at the scene and there the patrol found that the man could be linked to an incident earlier in the evening where a bus driver was beaten.

- The patrol sees that the man is reminiscent of a person who should have hit a bus driver earlier in the evening, says Matérne.

Kicked and mocked the police

And it doesn't end there. On the way from the hospital when he is to be taken into custody, the man becomes aggressive again, kicking one police officer and mocking the other.

He is now suspected of several crimes, including violence against an official and assault on an official.

The bus driver who was beaten was not seriously injured and did not need to be taken to hospital.
