Gabriella Papadakis and Guillaume Cizeron, vice-Olympic champions 2018 and quadruple world champions, took off from the rhythmic dance, with a new world record points, at the French Grand Prix of figure skating, which marks their international return, Friday in Grenoble.

On the known airs of the musical "Fame", Papadakis and Cizeron (24 years old both) earned 88.69 points. That is 27 hundredths better than their previous reference mark, which dates from the Worlds-2019 last March (88.42). And, most importantly, stack eight points higher than their closest competitors on the ice ister, Americans Madison Chock and Evan Bates. A hole.

The duo of dancers will skate his free program on Saturday afternoon.

Grenoble hosts the third of the six stages of the Grand Prix. The final of the circuit, bringing together the top six in each of the four categories (Dance, Men, Ladies and Couples), will take place from December 5 to 8 in Turin, Italy.
