Dr. Amal Al Shamsi, Director of the Municipality's Public Health Department, told Emirates Today that the evaluation of salons and beauty centers is carried out through inspection visits based on specific criteria covering workers, location, tools, equipment, cosmetics and personal care. On the list of sanctions approved by the Executive Council of the Emirate of Sharjah, taking care to oblige the management of the salon or the center to take the necessary corrective actions.

She pointed out that the inspectors of the municipality authorize periodic field visits and surprise on beauty salons to ensure that they comply with the requirements and health standards required.
