Patriarch Kirill signed a letter of unity of Western parishes with the Russian Orthodox Church

As the press service informed him, the letter was signed in duplicate.

They plan to hand one to the head of the Archbishopric, Archbishop John of Dubna (Renneto), on November 3 at a service in the Cathedral of Christ the Savior, the second will be kept in the archives of the Moscow Patriarchate.

At the beginning of October, a meeting of the Holy Synod was held, following which the Russian Orthodox Church accepted the jurisdiction of the Moscow Patriarchate of the Archdiocese of Orthodox Russian churches in Western Europe.

The archdiocese is the former diocese of the Patriarchate of Constantinople, its center is in Paris.
