"Today, the lower house’s foreign affairs committee unanimously adopted a resolution supported by both parties against Russia's participation in future G7 meetings until it respects the territorial integrity of its neighbors and adheres to the standards of democratic societies," the Cyres website said.

Earlier it became known that the US Congress proposed to prohibit the allocation of funds to facilitate the participation of Russia in G7 meetings or to support the reconstruction of the G8 "subject to the inclusion of Russia."

In September, a resolution was submitted to Congress for an appeal to all G7 leaders to oppose Russia's participation in the G7 summit.
