The Israeli occupation forces arrested on Thursday morning the Palestinian parliamentary leader and leader of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine, Khaleda Jarrar and the writer Ali Jaradat, while storming the houses of two prisoners west of Ramallah in the central West Bank.

According to Jarrar's family, Al-Jazeera Net reported that a large force of dozens of Israeli soldiers stormed her house in Al-Irsal area in the center of Ramallah at approximately 3:00 am. the past.

Jarrar, who was arrested in 2015 and 2017, was the head of the prisoners' committee in the Palestinian Legislative Council.He was accused by the occupation of political activism for the PFLP and subjected to renewed administrative detention throughout her detention.

Local sources said that the Israeli occupation forces stormed the house of the former prisoner, writer Ali Jaradat, in Al-Bireh city, adjacent to Ramallah. He spent more than 14 years in Israeli jails in unspecified arrests, most recently in 2016.

Eyewitnesses said that a large force of the Israeli army stormed the house of the director of the health work committees, Walid Hanacha, in al-Tira neighborhood, west of Ramallah. At the same time, they raided the house of the prisoner Samer al-Arbeed in the nearby neighborhood of Baten al-Hawa.

Clashes erupted between dozens of young men and the Israeli occupation forces at al-Manara roundabout in the center of the city and in the vicinity of the houses of the prisoners that were raided west of the city.

The 42-year-old Arab prisoner was transferred two days after his arrest earlier this month to the Israeli hospital of Hadassah in serious condition after being severely tortured during an investigation at the Maskobiya Center in occupied Jerusalem.

He accused the Arab occupation of leading a cell of the Popular Front planted an explosive device in the area of ​​Ein Bobin near the village of Ein Arik, west of Ramallah last August, and detonated remotely, killing a settlement and wounding two of her family.

Since the operation of Ein Popin two months ago, the Israeli occupation has launched a campaign of arrests among the activists and leaders of the Popular Front in the Ramallah area, which affected a large number of them.
