New state standards for wheat and rye bread come into force in Russia

According to RIA Novosti, in particular, the concept of "bread" and cancel the requirements for the smell of bread.

It is noted that the new GOST requirements apply to bakery products from rye and wheat baking flour, as well as from their mixture, which are intended for human consumption and, as a raw material, for the production of breadcrumbs.

At the same time, the press service of the Russian Guild of Bakers and Confectioners reported that these changes only concern the introduction of new terms and definitions, and are not intended to affect the quality and price of products.
