The fire must have erupted after a gas tank exploded - and three of the train's carriages were destroyed. At least 65 people are reported to have died in the explosive fire in the Punjab province of Pakistan, police say.
The gas tank was used by passengers preparing breakfast.
- Two cooking stoves exploded. They used fuel that fueled the fire, "Sheikh Rashid Ahmed, Minister of Railways, told Geo television.
Several deaths should have occurred when people jumped off the train.
