We need new measures that are commensurate with the dangers of the drug threat among young people. We will support this initiative, ”the deputy said.
According to Govorin, in most civilized countries "drug propaganda is very severely punished."
He noted that the concept of legislation itself is very correct, but the details need to be discussed.
Earlier, deputies from the Just Russia faction submitted a draft law to the State Duma, according to which up to five years could be charged for propaganda and advertising of drugs, and up to seven years if such actions are carried out using the media and the Internet.
