He is not surprised that the meeting is now set in Chile.

- It's a shame, but not surprising. The protests in Chile have continued and have not calmed down, he says.

But he points out that COP25 will be released, probably early next year, instead of December 2-13 as planned.

- What this means is that the climate negotiations will stop temporarily. All the issues that were on the table and the momentum that one is building up for this kind of very large international meetings only disappear temporarily, he says.
