The dispute between the owner of the street kitchen Mustafa Türkkan and Oskarshamn municipality has been going on for over 1.5 years after the municipality terminated the lease agreement with Mustafa Türkkan. At the site where the street kitchen is located in central Oskarshamn, parking lots will be built.

Mustafa Türkkan would have left the premises in October last year but has refused and the dispute was driven to negotiations in Kalmar District Court, which said the street kitchen would move promptly and pay the municipality's court costs.

But the street kitchen owner did not give up, but appealed the case to the High Court. But now there doesn't seem to be any trial there.

Settlement with tax assets

According to local media, Mustafa Türkkan is to receive compensation of SEK 150,000 and that he does not have to pay the municipality's court costs - against leaving the street kitchen by December 31, 2019.

- I've felt compelled to say yes, but I don't accept it. I have invested a lot of money here and they think I should get back, so my fight continues even if I leave until the end of the year, ”Mustafa Türkkan says in a comment to the Barometer.

The settlement is confirmed by the municipality.

- It is true that we as parties have reached an agreement. But there is a judgment in the district court and therefore the court of appeals is required to approve our agreement, ”Rolf Persson, Deputy Director, tells the newspaper.
