The emergency services were called to the scene at 00:15. About half an hour later, they found that the building was overhead. Instead, they then focused on saving the adjacent dwelling house.

The fire continued to be intense for at least an hour until and at the six o'clock on Wednesday morning, the fire brigade is still left and puts water on the fire site.

A man has been taken to Lindesberg's laser court, but neither the laser court, the police nor the rescue services have information about his injuries. But he was talkable when the police visited him on the laser.

The police have started a preliminary investigation into suspected murder and will conduct a technical investigation when the fire has cooled down. What the suspicions consist of is still unclear.

"I don't know if we have any concrete suspicions or not," says Jan Matérne, a police officer on duty.
