Student housing in Linköping currently owns around 4200 student housing, of which about 45 percent are corridor rooms. But now some of the corridors are being rebuilt to other types of student housing.

- We work close to our customers and have seen a demand for small apartments and as we need to rebuild our older student corridors, we have found a form of redevelopment that our students and customers appreciate, says Simon Helmer.

"Not to rebuild all student corridors"

At the same time, there is a demand for corridor housing, especially from international and new students.

- We have a plan not to rebuild all of our corridor homes. We maintain a close dialogue with Linköping University when it comes to these types of strategic considerations. we see that there is still a demand for corridor housing so we will not rebuild all.

But it is not only for student institutions that the student corridors are rebuilt - but also for fives.

- We want to try another form of public housing where customers can decide for themselves who they want to live with, says Simon Helmér.

Right now, among other things, such a reconstruction of student corridors is underway for other types of student accommodation on Rydsvägen in Linköping.
