“I welcome the historic vote of the US Congress that recognizes the Armenian Genocide,” Pashinyan wrote on his microblog on Twitter.
He stated that the resolution “is a bold step towards the service of truth and historical justice.”
Earlier it was reported that the US House of Representatives voted in favor of a resolution recognizing the Armenian Genocide.
