In the Baltic Sea found a submarine during World War II

Sailors of the Baltic Fleet during the mine search exercises discovered a supposedly sunken submarine from World War II.

According to the Ministry of Defense, the crew of the minesweeper “Alexander Obukhov” of the Baltic Fleet conducted exercises to detect training mines, during which it recorded the presence of a large underwater object.

“According to the results of the work carried out by military sailors in the territorial waters of Russia, an underwater object was found lying on the ground at a depth of 60 meters near the Baltic Spit in the Kaliningrad Region,” the agency said.

The Ministry of Defense specified that with a high degree of probability we are talking about a submarine sunk during the Great Patriotic War.

October 22 at the bottom of the Volga in the Samara region found a ship that sank about 600 years ago.
