Earlier, Israeli Justice Minister Amir Ohana signed a decision to extradite Burkov to the United States.

In December 2015, a Russian citizen was arrested at the Tel Aviv airport at the request of the United States, who charged him with computer crimes. A request for extradition was also sent by the Russian side.
