The goal of the week is to get the youngsters in Varberg's eyes for what opportunities there are if you want to pursue culture. The leaders come from several different places such as the Music School, the leisure centers and the Citizens' School. Some are active musicians themselves.

The guys in Line 615 are scratching their own song "Blue Eyes" in the basement while a gang upstairs repairs an old soul classic. It is young people from the ages of 13-25 who gather at the Cultural School in Varberg during the autumn holiday week to play in bands and get the chance to record in a real studio.

Lures beginners

- It's fantastic that we get to do this for free. Otherwise, studio time costs a lot of money and is difficult to obtain, says Lucas Svahn, who is one of the singers in Line 615.

But the camp also attracts some beginners.

- I've sung in chorus before but never in a band, says Elias Hjelte and continues:

- It's great fun and I hope I learn how to sing in new ways.
