According to investigators, Novikov inflicted two blows to a police dog handler with a bottle of liquid on his head and arm. In the UK noted that this is confirmed by the testimony of witnesses and videos from the scene.

During the announcement of the application for a preventive measure, the investigator stated that Novikov pleaded guilty.

Earlier, another participant of the unauthorized rally Aidar Gubaidulin, who had left Russia, despite having signed a recognizance not to leave, was arrested in absentia. He is put on the international wanted list.
