On Tuesday, Sweden's Prime Minister Stefan Löfven, the Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen met to discuss EU issues but also the extension of joint cooperation against organized crime.

- Crime is a cross-border problem and we can only solve it together. Organized crime must continue to be combated and the government is determined to use all the tools in the democratic toolbox for this to happen, says Prime Minister Stefan Löfven in a press release.

The cooperation comes a few weeks after Denmark chose to introduce border controls against Sweden due to the increased threat from Swedish organized crime.

Löfven will hold a press conference during the afternoon and the text will then be updated.
