The alarm came to the police at 23.46 on Monday evening. According to police, witnesses then heard something they first thought were fireworks - but which soon turned out to be gunfire.

The shots must have been fired at an apartment in Vårby.

- It was shot at an apartment with more than one shot. A number of empty sleeves have been found at the site, says Roger Clareus, on-duty investigative leader at the Flemingsberg police.

According to Clareus, witnesses have seen a car drive from the scene, but it is unclear both what the car had for color and brand.

Police technicians have been on the scene overnight and investigated the crime scene. The police now suspect that there are several gang members.

- It indicates that there is more than one in any case, says Roger Clareus.

It is unclear if anyone was inside the apartment when the shots were fired. No one has been injured, according to police.
