“The share of tourists who chose foreign travel this year increased by almost a third: in November 2018, 73% of Russians traveled domestically, this year only 57% of them. The place of Georgia in the hearts of Russians was taken by Italy, Turkey and Spain, ”the report said.
Moscow, Sochi and St. Petersburg were recognized as the most popular travel destinations for the November holidays in the country.
It is noted that during the study, experts analyzed the data of about 2 million customers.
In mid-October, the Izvestia newspaper, citing executive director of the Association of Tour Operators of Russia Maya Lomidze, reported that travel prices on November holidays increased by 10%.
