SVT News Blekinge has been in contact with representatives of several of the activities that in recent years have donated large sums or made fundraisers where the money was sent directly to the Support Fund's responsible.

But no one today can answer exactly what their donations were used for.

In December 2018, the Trade Association in Sölvesborg initiated a collection through various companies in the area. Exactly how much money came in, the trade association had problems getting answers to. The reason was partly that some of the donors did not want to specify the amount of money sent in, and partly that the Support Fund itself did not report a total amount back to the trade association.

- It was difficult for us to get an accurate account of how much money actually came in. Finally, we got a total estimate of about SEK 150,000. And this year we have chosen another collection. That's the comment I can make today, says commercial developer Ann-Louise Bolin.

Withdrew from

Not one of the donors contacted by SVT News Blekinge can answer how the money came in handy. The pastry chef Robin Falck in Karlshamn has over the years handed about SEK 15,000 to the Support Fund.

- But I ended it because I didn't get a good feeling. It was always the focus on money and when I realized that the money went to the private individuals' accounts, I withdrew. Now I work with other organizations that I trust and that feel serious, he says.

Robin Falck also offered Stödkassen free bread and cakes.

- But I never heard from them since. However, I noticed that on their side they later asked for bread and it was a bit strange because they could get it for free from me.

SVT News Blekinge has also been in contact with a number of private donors. No one claims to have received any account of how the money was spent. Many have also wondered how you can be sure that the money will end up where they are intended, but say they will not get any answers to their questions. Some also state that they offered help with, for example, baking cakes for children's birthday parties, without receiving any response.
