The leader of the Labor Party, Jeremy Corbyn , announced today that his group will vote this afternoon in favor of holding early elections in the United Kingdom before Christmas. "We are prepared for an election," Corbyn said in front of members of the party, because "our condition of removing an exit without agreement from the table is already fulfilled." Yesterday the European Union agreed to grant the United Kingdom a new extension of Brexit until January 31.

Prime Minister Boris Johnson will present again in Parliament the proposal to vote after yesterday he did not get the support of two thirds of the House of Commons to hold elections on December 12.

Nationalists and liberal democrats want to convene voters on December 9, three days before the date proposed by the prime minister. Both formations, in favor of a second referendum on the "brexit", hope to improve their results compared to the 2017 generals. Sources of Downing Street assure that the Government would be willing to accept December 11 as the date for the electoral appointment.
