About the accounting of the economy

The support fund Blekinge has no registered business account or company swish. The association is also not registered with any authority, or with the Swedish Collection Collection to obtain a so-called 90 account. It does not violate any laws to organize your association in this way, but it greatly impedes the transparency and control of outsiders in the business.

Controlling cash flow is impossible, as banking information is subject to strict confidentiality. The only ones who have access to the data are the two responsible themselves - and they consistently refuse to report information on the economy of the association.

- What comes in, it goes out. And what's left over goes to the next family.

But do you have something to show it?

- We have that in our account.

And do you see it?

- No, there is nothing to look at. Because it goes in and out.

[...]

Can you say how much you got last year?

- No, I can't. Every search is marked with a number, but I can't say it. It goes in and out. Sometimes it is moved, for the second account I have my card on. In the swish account I have no card linked, so I have to transfer it to my other when I make purchases and stuff.

If you do not know how much you get in a year, how can you make sure that everything is used correctly?

- Because we only use it for families.

And there was no way for me to see bank statements or anything like that?

- No I feel that we do not need to report. After all, no one else needs to see our bank statements because there is nothing to see.

Would it help you if you showed it?

- Yes, but I feel partly that ... No I do not want it.

About the debts of Kronofogden

One of those responsible is indebted to Kronofogden for a total of SEK 57,000. The Crown Magistrate has for several years carried out salary measurements on her income, but has also made foreclosure attempts on the woman's assets. In a foreclosure attempt last year, no forcible assets were found, but on the wrong occasion, the private account used for the Support Fund could be foreclosed if funds were collected. Something that has never happened so far.

- Then they would have taken it. They do payroll for me.

But they have done checks too, in September 2018? Surely they could make a new measurement?

- It's possible, I can't answer that because it's gifts that are swishas to our applicants, so it's not my assets.

But when they go through your account, do they become yours?

- Although it goes out to the families, it's not my money. They see that it is swish from private individuals, who end up in my account but who should go out to the families. But I get to call the Kronofogden and find out this, it's strange that they haven't heard.

Shouldn't you be open with this to the donors?

- Yes I am not ashamed because I am with the chancellor, and I am no worse person for that. But it's so sad, because families are suffering from this and it's sad. We've helped so many people over the years, and everything like that will be erased now and it's terribly sad.

About why Blekinge Support Fund is not registered

The support fund Blekinge is run as a non-profit association but is not registered with any government, or for a 90 account. However, it is run as a sister group to the registered organization Fair People - but according to the founder he no longer has that organization. Nor has any tax declaration been made for the organization to the Swedish Tax Agency.

- We have had some discussions with him about getting rid of us because we have gotten bigger as well, he has put down that bit. [...] I think I used that organization number twice. And we have not received from him that it is not active, because almost no one asks for any organization number. Without the best, we would have had our own.

Because you are not registered with any authority, you are not with the Swedish Tax Agency or somewhere, should you not be so that the control is facilitated?

- If you say it is true that Fair People is not active, we should definitely. But we have things going on because the bank now raised its eyebrows, I must have a bank account, I must have a life of my own. [...]

You have no 90 account either?

- Well, now we are under a non-profit association which we have learned that it is totally okay to do. But now I'm starting to think. We have no 90 account, we are two private individuals who spend 24/7 on helping people.

Then you get the scrutiny and control that can be good for the donors to show that this is safe? Wasn't that good?

- Great, but as I said, we have things going on. [...] We have had it in the background with organization numbers and we have to take over the name and so time has just run out. Now we got a kick in the ass to grab this and it's the best, because we definitely want to continue with this, we're passionate about this.
