It was at 17 on Wednesday that an X-ray nurse was seriously injured when he was sucked into the magnetic radiation in a mobile MRI wagon.

The nurse wore some kind of weight vest and got stuck in the camera.

He was rescued by a guard who cut him off with a knife and ended up first at Sunderby Hospital's intensive care unit and then at a care unit.

- The X-ray nurse is no longer in Luleå, but has been discharged. He is home and feels much better now, says operations manager Ulrika Ask.

She neither wants nor can comment more on the damage situation because of the preliminary investigation confidentiality.

- But since he is discharged and allowed to come home, there is no greater danger with him, she says.
