Trump called Zelensky “the president of Russia”

American President Donald Trump made a slip of the tongue and called his Ukrainian counterpart Vladimir Zelensky “the new president of Russia.” On the reservation of the leader of the USA, users of social networks drew attention.

The corresponding transcript of Trump’s speech on October 28 is also published on the White House website.

Trump commented on the publication of the transcript of his telephone conversation with Zelensky.

“And, the cherry on the cake - the Russian, as you know, the new Russian president, a good man, made a statement. And there was nothing there. There was no pressure on him, ”he wrote.
