The decree of the head of state is published on the official Internet portal of legal information.

“For courage, bravery and determination shown in saving people in extreme conditions, award Oleg Vladimirovich Bardanov, the flight engineer of the Angara airline (posthumously), Vladimir Ilyich Kolomin, the pilot inspector of the aircraft, with the Order of Courage,” the document says.

In addition, the president awarded the Nesterov Medal to flight attendant Elena Laputskaya, who managed to open emergency doors alone and helped passengers get out of the cabin, as well as co-pilot Sergei Sazonov.

On June 27, 2019, the An-24 plane of Angara Airlines made an emergency landing at the airport of Nizhneangarsk after the failure of one of the engines.
