It was at eight o'clock this morning that the police were alerted to a person who, with the help of various attachments, gave up on cars that were parked in a parking lot on Frideborgsvägen in Vaggeryd.
"The witness who alerted the police became scared and went indoors," says Åsa Willsund of a police spokesperson. But the perpetrator must have cut the tires on a number of cars, struck by rear-view mirrors and destroyed the roof of a convertible.
The evidence the police have so far received indicates that it was a person wearing dark clothing and was approximately 170 centimeters long. However, more information is needed and people who have information are asked to contact the police.
The police have classified the incident as an injury.
