US President Donald Trump announced the death of ISIS leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi in a military operation targeting his hideout in Barisha village in the Syrian province of Idlib last night.
In a televised address on Sunday, Trump said Baghdadi was killed after being stuck in a tunnel and detonating an explosive vest he was wearing.
He added: "We got sensitive documents after the killing of Baghdadi," pointing out that "Baghdadi was violent and brutally killed."

He continued: "Baghdadi died dead dogs and cowards."
