- I woke up with a jolt. It was a very loud bang, it was definitely no fireworks. You get cut up, get so many thoughts in your head that you have trouble orienting yourself, says neighbor Claes-Göran Svantesson.

The family should have been in the house when the incident occurred, but according to police, no family member should have been injured.

"Felt the pressure wave"

- I ran to the window to look out, but I didn't see any person. I heard many people screaming from the house where it happened, he says.

Did you get any damage to the house?

- No visible damage, on the other hand, has dropped things in the outside of the pressure wave. We felt it all the way up plus the powdery smoke, it felt quite heavy in the nose, says Claes-Göran Svantesson.

Neighbors helped

He says that several neighbors had run out to help the family who was allowed to stand on the street.

- I looked at what I could do so I went out and there I saw other helpful neighbors. A neighbor took the family's children with them so that they would not stand outside, says Claes-Göran Svantesson.

Emil Pettersson, who lives in the area, had also woken up by the bang both he and Claes-Göran Svantesson say it is usually a quiet street.

On a quiet street

- I thought it happened further afield and not in this area. There are pensioners and families with children living here, so that was very unexpected, says Emil Pettersson.

- It is a tragic event that has occurred on a quiet street in Helsingborg. It's not that you feel insecure but it doesn't feel funny either. Going to bed again was unthinkable. It was to sit up all night watching some golf and try to disperse the thoughts, says Claes-Göran Svantesson.
