The Integrated Transport Center has strengthened its fleet of vehicles operating in the emirate by 1308 hybrid vehicles by the end of the third quarter of this year, an increase of 35% over last year, explaining that the idea of ​​introducing environmentally friendly vehicles, which amounted to about 85% of the total vehicles operating in Abu Dhabi The 6390 vehicles come from the center's keenness to enhance the quality of life and preserve the environment from harmful emissions to humans and the environment, stressing the efforts exerted by the Center to convert the entire fleet into environmentally friendly vehicles that respect the highest standards of security and safety, and enhance the satisfaction Workers for the service provided to them.

For his part, the Executive Director of the Public Transport Sector at the Integrated Transport Center, Mr. Mohamed Hamad Al Muhairi, said that the Center, in cooperation and coordination with the eight operators of taxis, has finished supplying all taxis with new meters (mobile data units), in order to keep abreast of developments with the best international practices and introduce New updates on the systems in force in the center.

The new counters also send messages to drivers through these units from the Reservation and Distribution Center to guide them to the places most in demand and give them any information on traffic. The service also contributes to increased control over taxis.
