Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan urged the withdrawal of the Kurdish militia (YPG).

President Erdogan attended a football team event in Istanbul, Turkey, Tuesday, saying, "If terrorists do not withdraw within 150 hours, we will remove them by hand."

"If they continue to attack within the safe zone, we will chase wherever they go."

Turkey began military operations across the border on September 9, claiming that the Kurdish militias in northeastern Syria are Syrian sects of the Kurdish Workers' Party (PKK), a Kurdish separatist terrorist organization.

Erdogan visited Sochi, Russia, to meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin on Wednesday, and halted military operations on the 23rd day after noon on the YPG's withdrawal from Turkey's safe zone.

Turkey plans to set up a 444 km long and 30 km wide safety zone along the Syrian border east of the Euphrates River and to relocate more than 1 million of the 365 million Syrian refugees in the country.

Turkey's defense minister, Hulusi Akar, also met with reporters at Brussels, Belgium, to meet with NATO member states, saying, "It's all normal and the agreement is under way."

"YPG must complete its withdrawal by 6 pm on the 29th, as agreed by Sochi, Russia."
