“In accordance with the preliminary agreement, Russian President Vladimir Putin in a telephone conversation informed French President Emmanuel Macron in detail about the content of the Russian-Turkish summit talks on October 22 in Sochi,” the Kremlin said.

During the conversation, Macron praised the agreements reached. The parties also expressed the hope that the first meeting of the Syrian Constitutional Committee will be constructive and effective.

The leaders of the two countries agreed to continue contacts at various levels.

On October 22, following a meeting between Russian leader Vladimir Putin and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, an agreement was reached on the entry of the Syrian military and Russian military police into the area outside the Turkish Source of Peace operation in Syria.
