According to her, it was a “terrible day” and it’s “hard for her to remember.” The Russian woman admitted that she and her comrade were preparing to move in connection with getting a job.

Butina said that all things had already been collected when she heard a “completely wild knock” that alarmed her. The Russian comrade “went to open the door and disappeared,” she said. After that, she was called by name.

“And I so quietly go up to the door, it’s so around the corner. I open the door - I probably see about 12 agents, which means the FBI is in full uniform with rifles. And they asked me to leave the apartment - and ... actually, they handcuffed me, ”she said.

According to her, the agents asked her, "can she hurt them with something." After that, she was arrested, and “since then she has not seen freedom” to date.

On October 26, Butina flew to Moscow. She thanked the Russians for their support.
